Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs beef sirloin or round steak cut into chunks
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for searing
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 medium potatoes peeled and diced
  • 2 large carrots peeled and sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce or tamari for gluten-free
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Prepare the Beef:

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the beef chunks with salt and pepper.
  • Sear the beef in batches until browned on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. Transfer the seared beef into the Crock Pot.
